What are electric garage doors?
An electric garage door is a sectional, roller, up and over or side hinged door driven by a motor and opened from a remote handset, keypad or phone. We supply the door and operator together, so the motor, safety devices and handsets are matched to the door's weight and size.
How much do electric garage doors cost?
Our guide price is £1,800–£4,000 including VAT. Where a door is fitted, that includes removing and disposing of the old door. The final price depends on size, finish, whether you want it electric or insulated, and the condition of the opening, and is fixed in writing after survey.

Questions about electric garage doors
Which door type works best electrically?
Sectional and roller doors run most smoothly under a motor. Up and over and side hinged doors can be automated too.
Does an electric door need a new power supply?
It needs a fused spur or socket near the motor. If there is no power in the garage, we will tell you at survey.
Is it safe with children and pets?
Operators we fit include force limiting and obstacle detection, and photocells can be added for extra protection.
